Coronary Coasters Presentation
On Tuesday 1st December the Coronary Coasters presented a cheque for a staggering £8,612.75 to the Coronary Care Unit, Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
The Coronary Coasters fundraising group held several events over the year including the Three Peaks Challenge, Coast to Coast Sponsored Cycle Ride, Family Fun Rides and Garden Party. These events were a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part.
In 2010 the Coronary Coasters will once again be organised two separate C2C rides in order to cater for all cycling abilities.
26th/27th June 2010, a 95 mile route taking two days (shorter route)
3rd/4th July 2010, a 175 mile route over two days (longer route)
If you are interested in taking part in either ride there is a one off entry fee of £60.00 (this provides a service back up team) plus a further payment for the overnight stay of either £35.00 including dinner, bed and breakfast or £15.00 for camping, dinner, bed and breakfast. Sponsorship is optional.
Numbers are limited so if you would like to book a place I would advise you do so quickly. Don’t miss out on this opportunity.
